Terry joined the Colts Section in 1966 at the age of 14 and played continuously until 53, took a break and returned at 60....but now feels he can finally hang up his bat for good. In his long career Terry was captain of the 1st XI and indeed went on to play for and captain all five league sides over the years. He has also taken on various roles for the Cricket Committee which included Chairman, Vice Chairman and Chairman of Selection....the last two of which he still currently holds.

Jim joined the club from Spalding CC in 2015, having held every position at the Lincolnshire club in the thirty four years he was there. Passionate about encouraging children to play cricket, as our club CDO, Jim has built up a huge school partnership in our local community. As a player Jim began in the 3rd XI and now holds his own in the 5's. His dream is that his three year old son will don the WHCC shirt and join him in the middle in years to come. Bang the drum!

Heavily involved in the colts section and a parent of two boys coming through the ranks, Matt arranges all the junior fixtures and helps manage a couple of the teams. A member of the club since the age of 10 (over 45 years) Peter started playing cricket for our colts and went on to play for the seniors in the 2nd, 3rd and Vets teams. He's held many positions at our club, including a spell as Cricket Chairman, Fixture Secretary, Team Secretary and as the Colts Manager for a number of years, before being appointed the WHSC Secretary in March 2019. Nowadays he still regularly umpires for the cricket section. A keen footballer too in his prime (2nd & 3rd XI's) before a serious knee injury curtailed his involvement. His nickname 'Briegel' was inspired by a similar hairstyle sported the German international footballer of the 1980's - Hans Peter Briegel.
