Sponsor a Match Ball 2024
Dear Members,
As part of our ‘Special Efforts’ at the club, specifically Cricket, we would like to invite members to ‘Sponsor a Ball’ for ALL 2024 league games played on the front wicket and will consist of the First XI and Second XI games, plus an MCC match & a Club 6-a-side tournament.
In all, there will be 18 games in the league season, and other games depending on the support from this initiative. If, however we are oversubscribed, we will extend this to the 3rd XI and 4th XI.
We are asking for £75 per game for you to be a sponsor of the match ball. If however, you wish to sponsor £100 or more and WHCC win the match, our kind Cricket Chairman (Matt Webster) will personally take you to our sponsors excellent restaurant, Masala Lounge, for a meal.
We have projects under development for Cricket this year so the funds from this initiative will greatly benefit the section.
In return for your kind donation, we will advertise at the ground who will be the Match sponsor, as well as on the Cricket website and Noticeboards, so you (or your family) will be visible on the day to thank you for your support.
If you would be interested, please reply to me (with the amount), and I can then compile a list of sponsors and allocate a match for you.
Unfortunately, if for any reason the weather plays a part which could cancel the whole game, we will still identify the sponsor in the normal way. Many thanks. Guy Saunders
