Dress Code & Equipment

For training - whites not required. Suitable training gear and trainers will suffice but spikes will be required if it is wet and training is on the grass.

HOWEVER...NO SPIKES ARE ALLOWED IN THE NETS.

All other Cricket Equipment for ages Under 9 to Under 11 will be provided by the club. Helmets will be available for all age groups. ALL COLTS SHOULD PROVIDE THEIR OWN ABDOMINAL PROTECTOR and support to keep it in place!

For matches - White trousers, white cricket shirt, white sweater, a cap and white trainers/boots (with spikes for damp conditions) are required for all matches. New colts do not need to purchase white kit until they are selected to play in a match.

The club would prefer that in matches our colts wear a white shirt with a WHCC emblem and cap for matches. The supplier is Romida Sports and orders can be made online via our Club Shop

Parents/colts are reminded that the cricket balls provided in the nets belong to the club and should be returned to their coach after practice.
